Hi, I'm Tanai.

I’m a James Beard and College Emmy Award winning video producer. I love creating short-form videos, writing and traveling. My passion for media and food has taken me from producing over 300 lifestyle videos at Littlethings.com, to directing and producing series on FirstWeFeast like Food Skills and What The Food, to creating an inspirational YouTube series about female entrepreneurs.

Currently, I’ve moved back to Miami to start my company Lion Squirrel Productions after living in Israel for 6 months working for a BBDO-affiliated branded content agency. Before then, I was the Associate Producer of First We Feast, a James Beard Award-winning food site that's part of Complex Networks. As a Producer, I developed the social media video series What The Food (400k-5MM views), co-produced and directed the James Beard Award Winning Youtube series Food Skills (avg 400k views) and was the Associate Producer on the Youtube and Hulu series Sean in The Wild (500-1MM views).

I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and then lived in Miami from age 10 until I went off to study TV & Radio Production at the University of Florida. (Go Gators!) This is where I founded the online series OutinTheVille about the awesome restaurants in the city of Gainesville. Ever since then, it’s been my purpose to find interesting, unheard stories and share them with communities online.
